Maybe this will be your first and final visit or maybe this will be the beginning of a never ending passionate relationship with this dazzling subcontinent. Whatever the case will be, you will never forget India for as long as you live.
Rajasthan is one of the most beautiful and colourful regions of India. Strangely enough it has more of that Arabian Nights flavour than many Arabic countries. The desert, the camel markets, the walled cities and the people make this a very exciting destination to spend a few weeks.
Rajasthan covers an Area of 342 Million Sq.Kms and its in the west border of Pakistan, however the border is not open. A large part of Rajasthan is covered by the Thar Desert. The most common languages spoken are Rajasthani, Hindi and Marwari. The climate is, very hot during summers, i.e. from May to July and very cold in winters, i.e from November to February. The best time to visit Rajasthan is between October to April.
