This trail takes average fitness riders 90 miles over 5 days staying in
Brecon, the villages of Talybont and Llanthony. The riding is moderately fast,
much of it over 2000 feet above sea level, affording spectacular views of the
beautiful Welsh Countryside. Relax - enjoy the ride, safe on the back of a
friendly Welsh Cob!

Riders arrive, settle in and have dinner. |

| Day 2 |
|
Introduction to our system, then we ride about 4 miles to the 'Farmer's Arms' in Cwmdu before lunch, returning through the mountains with views of the Brecon Beacons - about 10 miles for the day. Any horse changes are made now if necessary. Dinner and accommodation at Cwmfforest. |

Horses are transported to the foot of the Brecon Beacons where we ride over high up on the Brecon Beacons along a Roman road to get great views of 3 reservoirs with a picnic up in a forest before following an old pony tram route down to Talybont. |

We ride from Talybont back to Cwmfforest crossing through the river Usk, lunching at the New Inn at Bwlch before returning over Llangorse Mountain. |

|
After we change horses we ride southwards down the old coach road to Pandy near Abergavenny via the Red Lion Inn at Llanbedr. |

|
We travel from Pandy up onto (6 Century) King Offa's Dyke Path via the Goat Company farm where there is a chance to buy Angora goat clothing and on to Hay-on-Wye for the evening. |

On the last day we ride from Hay back to Cwmfforest via the Three Horseshoes Pub (used to be an old smithy) & a great gallop on Felindre Common before returning along the Helter-Skelter / Roller-coaster for a final thrill... |
