Back

Beautiful scenery across Tuscany, ItalyOur trekking trails explore the area bordering on the provinces of Tuscany, Lazio and Umbria. This unique region of Italy with its undulating hills topped with farmhouses, emerald green valleys’ and surrounding mountains is where we will spend the week on horseback. We will ride through forests, cross rivers and streams and enjoy vista’s of vast yellow fields of sunflowers that skirt the hilltops where many medieval castles still remain.

We stay in lovely comfortable farmhouses and inns that convey a typical welcoming regional feeling. Rooms are doubles with bath and toilette. Some overnight stops have a swimming pool. The food and wine served is typical to this region and our guest will enjoy delicious hand made pasta’s and find delicacies only available to those who travel into this unique area. All trails include breakfast, fully catered picnic lunch on the trail, and a three or four course evening meal with local wines, cheeses, home made pastas’, coffee and for those looking to try a local digestivo of grappa or amaro these too are available.
