| Accommodations and Meals |
|
Lodging will be at the stud, in a small purpose built annexe adjoining the courtyard, with three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Riders can be accommodated with families in nearby houses if necessary.
Meals are taken in the dining room, a large communal room with TV and comfortable chairs. The food is locally grown and cooked. Riders are welcome to sit here during the day or evening. If the weather is warm enough to sit outside, there is a long patio overlooking an outside manege. There is also a swimming pool, a billiard room, and a den with a fireplace |

| Horses & Tack |

All levels of riding skills are welcome. For the riding tours you should be of intermediate standard capable of riding 3 hours per day.
The horses are either pure-bred or crossbred Lusitanos. The Lusitanos, which have the same origins as the famous Andalusians, are considered some of the finest horses in Europe. Together with their Spanish brothers, the Lusitanos were the first horses to be brought to the New World and thus are the ancestors of most American breeds. They are especially beautiful, strong and sensitive, attentive and trusting breed. They are all well-trained and mostly stallions, and therefore prefer space from the next horse.
Portuguese army saddles, snaffles and double bridles are utilised. The Portuguese saddle is very comfortable. Sheepskin seat savers are also available. |
