Teams from France, Belgium and Germany will
descend upon Booksby Agricultural in Leicester from 16-18 November for the first ever international horseball competition in Britain.
Horseball originated in France 25 years ago and the sport has grown rapidly throughout
mainland Europe. The British Horseball
scene is growing steadily and The
British Horseball Association currently
has over 200 members.
Horseball is a fast and furious game played on horseback where a up to 6 players per team collect a football from the ground at speed without dismounting
The sport is rapidly gaining a lot of interest across the UK
as it can be played in or outdoors.
Requiring great nerve and a lot of skill
