Kim Hyung Chil from South Korea died
whilst taking part in the cross country
event in Doha.
His horse Bundaburg
Black fell on top of Mr Hyung Chil
whilst negotiating fence eight at the
cross country course. Medics were on the
scene to attend to Mr Hyung Chil and he
was taken to the Hamad General Hospital
where he didn't regain consciousness.

The horse,
Bundaburg Black, is said to be showing
no signs of injury following the fall
but is being kept under observation for
the time being.
A full investigation
will be carried out following the
incident.
