The International League for the Protection of Horses (ILPH),
one of the world’s leading horse
charities, are moving from their
Herefordshire based farm to a property
near Somerton in Somerset.
The search for a larger rehabilitation centre started
four years ago, following the identificaion of moer
and more horses requiring help from the largest re-homer
of horses in the UK with over 2000
horses in its care.
The new centre will be able to accommodate 100 horses, double that of the current centre in Hereford.
Purchased from racehorse trainer Nathan Rossiter, Springfield will be renamed Glenda Spooner Farm,
the same name as the Hereford based centre.
The existing farm in Herefordshire,
the former racing stables of Michael
Scudamore, is currently for sale and can be viewed
