Fishing holidays on Dartmoor
Fishing holidays on Dartmoor are available through the Westcountry Rivers Trust and the Duchy of Cornwall on The Westcountry Angling Passport.
The partnership has been developed with the aim of maintaining access to the excellent fishing on Dartmoor’s rivers; to deliver long term benefits to the environment and to the native fisheries on Dartmoor. In place since 2010, the partnership delivers practical and continuous river improvement works throughout the fishery.
Duchy Waters include the extensive Dartmoor Fishery of the East Dart river, West Dart river and their tributaries, offering some of the best native wild Brown Trout, Sea Trout and Salmon fishing in the UK on The Dartmoor Beats, over 16 miles (25km) of rivers. Fishing is also available on Burrator and Fernworthy reservoirs, both of which stock Rainbow Trout.
Equitour Sporting Holidays offer you the perfect base from which to experience fishing on Dartmoor, staying at Dartfordleigh House which is situated only 50 yards (40m) from the East Dart River.
We also have the exclusive fishing rights on a half-mile section of the Cherrybrook for guests who wish to enjoy fishing it, subject to holding an EA licence and compliance with the conservation measures and regulations that apply on all Duchy Waters.View the gallery
